Higher, Faster, Stronger LULU

Well folks,

Not sure if you're watching as much of the Olympics as I am but wow do I like them!  I really like the swimming for which I get on my rocking horse and rock as fast as I can and I love the floor routine of the gymnastics that when they tumble I fall over belly laughing!

So every athlete must start out with a dream right?

someday

But these feet have to get faster....

And this baby needs to grow higher...

And these arms need to get stronger...

And then maybe someday I'll be getting a gold in the Olympics to show the world my crazy smile!

That's right folks, that's me Lulu - 21 months old holding the London Olympic Torch!

2012

Not every girl can say that huh?  Including Baby who refused to go near the torch with me at first...

So until they make stroller climbing...

Love,
Lulu

PS.  Yes that is really the Olympic Torch - it carried the Olympic flame and was carried by one of Mom's friends from work in UK as part of the torch relay.  Each of the torch bearers gets to keep their actual torch.  Cool huh?

Working 9 to 5 or more like 5 to 9 minutes!

Well folks,

I've been working hard these past few weeks.  Mom and Dad ditched me again and went to Brugge so I played with Nana and Grandad so I wasn't able to write much.   But good news is I'm back home and I've been helping Daddy build the garden.

I was really excited when Daddy came home one day with my digger!

Mommy said that it wasn't for me to drive, but I told her whatever! I've got this down pat, move out of the way boys!

Daddy's making me a garden out of our backyard!   I've been helping too!  First I made sure the sand was up to quality...

Then I made sure it was put in the right place in the yard...

But mostly, I've been the foreman telling Daddy what to do!

I cannot wait to have a new garden to run around in!   I'm making sure to help Mom clean up all the dirt in the house.  For those of you who missed my cleaning outfit here is a shot from my better side...

I've been so good cleaning Mom's house that she even bought me my own for the garden.  I like to hang out the window and gossip with the dogs... basically telling them they are "bold" all the time.

Untitled

I REALLY like my new house which I call "luluhose".   I even play outside in the pouring rain and Mom and Dad watch me from the windows as they don't like to play in the rain!

Also check out my new pigs... My hair is growing out quickly!  Sometimes and ONLY sometimes I let Mom do this...

And finally, I had my #1 visitor back to see me!  That's right folks, Nicole is the winner of the most times anyone has travelled to Ireland to visit Lu!  She's definitely holding on to her title of favorite Auntie (Sorry Alissa & Kirsty!)

See she FLEW all the way over just to see me (and Paris, Rome, Florence, Venice & Dublin but what do they have right?)

And of course you can't forget Kiffer... welcome to the Blog Kif!

We sure had a good time in Dublin checking out the sites.... from every view!

And we even finally made it to see St Valentine or the box that his bones are in.    Now who's my Valentine well this baby's not talking!

Who are you calling Baby?

Well folks,

Wow, lots to catch up on with you.  First, I've been protesting with Mom that I am no longer a baby and thus need a new blog title... I'm not winning the battle.  I try really hard though, most days I start of with refusing to let Mom dress me... she keeps telling me she's going to send me to school naked which would be just fine with me - the freedom!  Can you imagine?

I love being naky!

Recently I've been enjoying the summer... or what Mom calls the Irish attempt at a summer!  I help Mom water the plants (we're never going to get Strawberries with this kind of weather!)

Untitled

I help Dad with the grocery shopping...

Untitled

On Saturday I decided to be really good an help Mom vacuum the house...

Untitled

Mom said I was such a good helper that she'd take me to the market for the day!

Untitled

So off we went for a look around, sadly the market wasn't that great but they did have a BIG bouncy castle which I couldn't wait to get on for a jump around!

Untitled

I tried to get Daddy to jump with me but he said he was too big!

Untitled

I really wanted to stay at the castle all day but Mom and Dad had other plans so they dragged me away.  At first I wasn't too happy until Mom gave me a cupcake.   I didn't know what to think at first..

Untitled

But then I took my frist bite... and holy manoley baloney that is TASTY!

Untitled

I've had all kind of surprises lately.   This weekend Mom was sick of me asking to be put in and out of my bed so she made it into a big girl bed!  WOW was I H-A-P-P-Y happy to have my very own big girl bed!

Untitled

A bed for BIG LULU!

I'd told Mom my ode to my new bed "Play Hard, Poop Your Pants, Sleep like a Baby and ROCK ON!"

Untitled

On Sunday Mom and Dad did it again and took me to Portloaise as Daddy wanted to get some stuff for his Elderflower Champagne he's making.   On our way home we found a really cool playground and they let me stop for a look!

I told Daddy that I would like to him escort me into my castle like any little princess!

Untitled

I had a good look around but I loved the swings!

Untitled

I even found my own little corner just my size!

Untitled

We went inside to the Leisure centre and they had an amazing pool that Mom and I may visit this weekend, while I was inside I made sure to do some ice cream selling!

Honk Honk Beep Beep YEA!

Untitled

And finally today, Mom dressed me up in my Red, White and Blue and made me go to creche like a crazy person.   I loved it!

Untitled

Mom says's what a year's its been...

After all that folks, I definitely think I'm not a Baby although try telling Mom that!

Love you,

Lulu
