Leprechaun Lulu

Well folks,

You think you're going to find me gold do ye?

I may tell ya where it is, as I'm a nice little leprechaun... sometimes!

I hope everyone had a good St Patricks Day!  This weekend the weather here was lovely so I went out to smell the flowers with Mom.  Some of them were as tall as me!





I really like running around outside these days! There is so much to explore, my latest discovery is birds!

I'm also helping Daddy build the fence in our back garden!  I'm good at digging... although Mom doesn't understand my paint brush digging technique!

Daddy tried to get me to do some hard labor pounding in the fence posts, but the hammer was way too heavy for little old Lu!

At the end of the day, I decided it was nice enough to get out for a spin, wanted to feel the breeze in my hair!

That is my "I'm thinking about something" look - my tongue does not stay in my mouth most of the time!

Today, I came home from creche to a surprise from my Auntie Julie!  She gave me a whole bunch of gifts, my favorite so far is the stuff for Stella!   Look at Stella's new clothes!

All was going great until I noticed Stella had new shoes!  Even though Mom bought me my own pair of new shoes yesterday I threw a tantrum (full out) until Mom finally gave in and well, made me a happy baby!



Yup, that's me wearing Stella shoes which I wore around for about 30 minutes every time one fell off, stopping in mid track saying "uh-oh" a thousand times until Mom put them back on.  

So Thanks Aunt Julie - I love Stella these days!  She's snoozing with me right now (although Mom didn't take a photo so you'll have to use this one of my and my teddy from last week - I can't sleep without something to cuddle these days!)

Living up to my name!

Well folks,

Mom said I'm living up to my name these past few days!  On Friday morning Mom came into my room to find me covered (and she means covered!) in puke!  I must have been sick in the night and I rolled all over in it.  Of course it was the 1st night that Mom and Dad didn't have the baby monitor on so of course I was going to get sick right?  Mom said I was stinky... she took a photo but has decided against putting it up - thank you Mama!

Not sure why I was sick as I'm in great form (minus the very nasty nappies!)   I've had a good weekend other wise!   Yesterday I spent about 30 minutes with Duke watching all the neighbors pass by - the only problem is not many people pass by at 7am on Saturday mornings!

Duke LOVES to look outside - she sits in her chair all day long looking out at the birds, the dogs and her favorite - the stray cats!!  Every day when we get home, I clap my hands and point to the window and say "Day-see" 

I can say Dixie to but for some reason it comes out "Dud-dud".


Today Mom decided to take me to the playland to run around the place... Dad was working and Mom didn't think she could entertain me for another day by herself!  So off we went to Monkeyland.   (By the way dad taught me to go "whoo ooh ooh" and scratch under my arm when someone says Monkey - what a great talent huh?)

I first went into the ball pit - it was loads of fun once I figured them out!

Then I climbed up to the upper level to have a go at the slide!

 Wow did the slide go fast - I loved it!

I do have to say that again, I preferred to climb up the slide the wrong way!

But my favorite thing to do (over and over) was Baby Yoga!

Mom doesn't know where this came from but I didn't stop doing this every few minutes!

After all that fun running around playing I got a bit tired...

Don't worry though, I didn't take a nap today!  Have to keep Mom on her toes.... every few days I decide I don't need naps!   So later on today, I went to meet Daddy at the hardware store.     Mom said I was really good so when I pointed to the balloons she bought me one.

Hey I think I know you!

Well folks, I'm off to bed now - going to be a fun day in the creche tomorrow seeing all my pals!

Protesting Mom... P R O T E S T !!!

Well folks,

I woke up last Monday and didn't know what I was going to do... how could a girl go to school with her hair like mine?     I debated and debated and then I got my chance!

You see Mom puts me in my chair in the morning to eat my cheerios and sometimes she gives me a yogurt (My favorite).    We'll I take my chances when I can, Mom went into the bathroom to brush her teeth and when she came out I had decided on doing my own hair for the day!

Mom couldn't believe it... but it got better when she walked around the back of me she saw how well I had "washed" my hair!

Yup that's me with yogurt scrubbed in!   What I didn't realize is that the hot water wasn't on so I got a bit of a shock when Mom grabbed a washcloth and cleaned me up (1/2 way anyway as she gave up and sent me to school like that!)

Anyway Mom needs to get more photos uploaded before I can tell you all the rest of my week... just thought I'd share the news.
