Chillin with My Grammie

Well folks,

Lulu here - I had to take back over from Janey until Mom decides how Janey is going to write the blog... she has some ideas or so she told me when I got home from school tonight.  I guess the two of them are conspiring while they send me away - not very nice of them huh?

Well, when I got to the airport I stood with my sign waiting for Grammie.... It's the thing to do right?   See all the other people have their signs, I had to make sure Grammie didn't go with one of them right?   Not sure what she's looking at my sign is just as good as hers and I look right professional in my princess getup!

Untitled

And then out of the gate I saw Grammie and I ran right over to here - and of course showed her the sign I made for her!

Untitled

I was really happy she was finally here - so was Jane although she seems to have narcolspy!

Untitled

When we arrived back home I had to show Grammie my new pad!

And then our adventures began!  We had so much fun together!   We went to the park to play...
Untitled

And to the shops for Ice Cream and Feeties (aka Sweeties aka Candy)...

Untitled

Grammie, Mom, Jane and I went to Lullymore Heritage site and I rode the train!   Look at me Derek - you would have loved this!

Untitled

We even let Jane ride the train!  You can see the top of her head... just about!

Untitled

And we played on the swings!   Look I can go all by myself and higher than Grammie!

Untitled

Then one day we all went to the zoo!  I loved the monkeys!  The highlights of the trip (which Mom says I still talk about) are:

1. The Monkey who took two big poos & a pee while sitting on a log bridge over the water
2. The elephants getting a shower to wash the "poo" (dirt) off their backs
3. The elephant who went for a BIG POO right in front of us

Mom says you can see a theme!  But I like the zoo, made loads of new animal friends...

Untitled

Grammie and I found a statue of Boppa... haha just kidding Boppa!

Untitled

We played at the zoo, Grammie even went down the big slide but she was scared so I gave her a push.

Untitled

I'm not scared of slides... I LOVE them I go down them over and over and over and over and over and... well Mom usually bribes me a away after a while.

Untitled

But she always takes me someplace cool - I rode the Zebra with Mom!

CAM00064

Boy the zoo is exhausting!   "Tang" (my new friend from Grammie) and I had to take a snooze on the way home.

Untitled

But on Saturday Grammie had to leave to go back home.   I was really sad but I told Grammie, I'd drive her to the airport... Hop on Grammie!

Untitled

We had so much fun together!  I can't wait to see her again in the summer... rumor has it Mom, Jane and I are flying over to the States.

So folks, all is well here - Jane says hi.   She sleeps too much to say anything else!

Washing Me Stinky Bum...

Howdy People,

Janey here!  I thought I'd give you a recap of my first few days home with Lulu!

So Mom and I were chillin in the living room for our first day together when all the sudden our peaceful quite afternoon ended with the door opening and a big "WHERE'S TINKERBELL?" was heard as Lulu came rushing in from school.

Mom said "Watch out Janey!" and she wasn't kidding!   The next question out of Lulu was "Mom where are Tinkerbell's shoes?"   So within two minutes, I had been given shoes...

Some of Lulu's old toys...

And a card that Lulu made for me in school.   What a great Big Sister I had huh?    Notice to those of you who are observant I had also been given a lovely headband!

IMG_3837

So for months leading up to my big day arriving home, Lulu has been telling everyone that Mom was going to go to the Dr to have the baby, that they were going to name me Tinkerbell and that Mom was going to bring me home so Lulu could give me a bath.

So I obliged... look how excited Lulu is!  I wasn't sure what was happening thus the arms out in case they dunked me in!

Daddy showed Lulu that my belly button finally fell off.... she was quite impressed!

IMG_3854

And then I sat back and let them scrub... this bath thing is RELAXIN!

If you don't believe Mom that I could be Lulu's twin... here is a photo of Lulu in her 1st bath...

Now back to me people, BACK TO  ME!

Of course after I was done, Lulu decided that she would like to wash her bum so she joined in!

Untitled

Turns out giving me a bath is her favorite thing to do these days...

CAM00045

But wait a minute that is NOT me.... wait a minute who is that with Lulu?!

CAM00049

I also really like it when Lulu and Mommy change me bum... such a nice feeling, so I sit back and relax!

Untitled

And I had to get revenge... Lulu in my bath, Janey in Lulu's bed... hahaha!  Revenge of the little sister!

So people for now that's me... talk soon!

Tinkering Around

Howdy People,

Janey here!  I decided to take over from Lulu to tell you about my adventures of being a Stinky Baby!    Lulu says she'll come back but she's enjoying her retirement by spending her toddlerhood throwing BIG fits every once in a while... I need to make sure to watch how she throws em for when I get big!

So you saw that I was born a few weeks ago... but you want to know what I've been up to?  LOADS.   Let's take a look back at my first week....

I made sure to sleep loads in the hospital

Untitled

I made sure to poop a lot... Daddy changed my 1st diaper so I made sure it was a really good one!

Untitled

Every once in a while I decided to wake up for a few minutes...

Untitled

But not for too long as I had to get my beauty sleep!

Untitled

I made sure to think a lot!  I did this when I was 1 day old just like Lulu did while sitting on Daddy's lap!  Funny huh?  Mom says that she has to little thinkers!

Untitled

But the best thing I did in the hospital... was meet my BIG SISTER LULU!  She was really excited about meeting me (Mom has it on video and will post it later).   I was so excited I fell asleep when she held me... she's good at giving her little sis a big hug!

Untitled

She's really smart too as before I was born she told Mom that I would have blue eyes and pink hair... an Voila I delivered!  Guess Mom should have listened!

Lulu made sure to check my eyes...

Untitled

And she made sure to count my piggies (She made Mom undress me to see them)

Untitled

Wow she is a COOL big sister!   We're going to have loads of fun together!   I was so happy... tears of joy people, tears of joy!

Untitled

Lulu brought me my first outfit that she picked out herself... a PINK one!  I decided to wait and wear it on my big day - the day they released me from the hospital.   So they took of my jail bracelet off...

Untitled

And bundled me up....

Untitled

And drove me home!

Untitled

Daddy made sure to take me in and we watched bikes for the night!  What a great day!

Tinkerbell is Here!

Well folks,

Tinkerbell is finally here!  Last week, I was sent to Nana & Grandad's in Kilkenny on Wednesday night and was told the next time I was home my sister would be here!

So let's all give a BIG Shout Out & say Welcome to the World....

Mom and Daddy checked into the hospital on Thursday morning.  Here is Daddy getting ready to go in for surgery!

Untitled

Then Tinker was born!   Isn't she a cutie - and look she has really light hair compared to me as a baby but otherwise Mom and Dad think we look the same.   Here is her 1st picture...

Untitled

Daddy was able to hold Jane the entire time Mom was finishing surgery... when I was born they took me into an incubator for a while.   She wasn't very happy as she wanted to eat so she cried (loudly) for a while every few minutes until Mom came in to feed her and then she was a very happy baby!

Untitled

Mommy thought she was big (compared to me she is almost a pound bigger!)

Untitled

So Mom has a weird thing about dates, she wanted me to be born on 10/10/10... but as I was born on the 28th my numbers all add up to 10...  10/28/10 at 10am (on the button).    When the nurse gave me to Mom she said here is your daughter, born on the 28th of the 10th 2010 at 10am - and Daddy said 10/10/10 which made Mom happy.   Well check out Janey's numbers!!! Mom realized that night that Jane was born on 4/4/13 which all add up to 4 and she was born at 11:20am - adds up to 4!  COOL HUH?  Mom and I think so, Daddy thinks we're weird.

So Mom and I are trying to decide who should write the blog.   I'm thinking of passing on my duties to Janey so that I can focus on being a BIG SISTER!   You'll have to let Mom know on her facebook page.
So for now I'll say goodnight and talk to you all soon....  I'll write more about Jane's first week tomorrow!   What a cutie little sister I have though huh?

Love,
Lulu aka THE BIG SISTER and Janey asks me to say HOWDY to everyone!

Blame the Scribe & Tinkerbell

Well folks,

Sorry I've been on hiatus you need to blame Mom & Tinkerbell.   Mom was really busy since she'll be off on Maternity Leave from March 22 until Jan 9th next year - she had to get everything ready before she went off.   Secondly, blame Tinkerbell - the name I've given to my baby sister as she makes Mom REALLY tired so she was too lazy to be my scribe.

So now that Mom is off work, she decided to let everyone know what I've been up to over the past two months!

One thing I really like to do is help Mom in the kitchen...

Untitled

I always get to lick the spoons, especially when we make brownies!

Untitled

Mom and I go swimming every once in a while which I love.  I swam the whole length of the pool with just a noodle & Mom by my side a few weeks ago!  Here I am in my swimming cap..

Untitled

I also dress myself most days now.  Sometimes I let Mom pick out my outfit but many times I tell her what I am going to wear for the day - JJs purple dress was a big hit at creche over the past few weeks!

Untitled

When Mom and I go shopping she lets me get a cool car to drive around in - I love it!  Now when ever we go out I make sure to keep my eyes open and you wouldn't believe my "car radar" I can spot them from the other end of the malls!

Untitled

In February, Daddy did his Nifty Fifty race at Mondello - where they race Honda 50s all day.   Mom and I went to see him go around, I loved watching him!

Untitled

I gave Daddy the big thumbs up for racing!

Untitled

Daddy and I are like peas in a pod - we even still make the same faces when Mom tries to take a picture of us!

Untitled

I also have been loving the paints that Santa brought, I even sometimes paint on paper!

Untitled

Untitled

And finally, I am in love with guacamole... and I love the Chipolte knockoff in Dublin.   Daddy and I like to eat burritos together... nummy!

Untitled

So folks, that has been what I've been up to lately.   There are rumors that Tinkerbell is going to be here any day, so Mom packed her bag for the hospital, I packed my bag for Nana's house and Stella packed her bag to come with me!   Can't leave Stella behind now can we?
