This, That and Outakes...

Well folks,

Not too much up these days.  I've been spending my time napping, eating my hands, drooling (a new favorite), pooping, sometimes smiling and basically just hanging out with Mom & Dad.

Good news is Dad is finally back to work after having 30ccs of blood drained from his knee which was causing the pressure in his joint.  He's not fully back on his knee but getting very close!   Mom is glad that he is finally out of the house so she can start a routine with me... or that is what SHE thinks I have my own plans hee hee hee!

I'm loving my Bumbo seat and I am starting to reach out for toys and stick them in my mouth... they taste nummy!  Can't wait until I have better hand control so keep them in my mouth!

Mom says she has new photos of me but is too lazy to upload them tonight so she is showing you outtakes from the Turkey shot.... oh no I say!

Mom thought there would be no reason why she'd put a turkey in bed, thus we headed to the dining room...

Any one order a 40 pounder?  

Mom thought I look a little bit too "stuffed" for this one... she didn't want anyone to actually think I was a stuffed turkey for dinner!

A quarter of a Year!

Well folks....


That's right, I'm a quarter of a year old today!  3 months... wow what a life I've had so far.  Let's recap..

Be Born...                                    check
Poop on Mom & Dad....      check
Keep everyone awake all night...  check
Dress like a turkey...                    check
Learn how to smile...                    check
Learn how to SCREAM...            check :-) I've nailed this one!
Visit 3 Counties in Ireland....         check
Visit 3 Countries in World...          check  (Dad says Amsterdam doesn't count, but I was there folks!)

Yea, I've done a lot in my day!  So today I woke up and Mom took me to the store to buy my bumbo seat.  I like it!!!  I'm thinking if I get a present every 1/4 of a year I'll be doing well... Mom said not to hold my breath though!

So here I am in my new seat...

WHOA!! Is that a 1/4 of a piece of cake I see??  Don't mind if I help myself...

Hmmm... I think I'll sit back and ponder my new few months...

(By the way Dad dressed me this morning if you notice my outfit.  I'm styling!!  Mom says the onesie is for a 6 month old!)


I know what 3 months old do... they blow BUBBLES!

Pour Some Water on Me

Well folks, I was baptised!

First, Mom and Dad ditched me at Nana & Grandads to go to Mount Juliet for a night last week. Mom took these photos of the place... there was lots of freezing fog that morning. I loved staying at Nana & Grandads!!!

Well the morning of my baptism started out with a BANG!! Literally as when mom plugged her curling iron into the wall -- ZAP! She was electrocuted with 240 volts of electricity! She wasn't hurt just a burn on her finger but wow the shock of it!

It was cold outside so I couldn't wear my dress to the church so Mom put me into one of her outfits when she was a baby. I am not quite sure of the "bonnet" do I look like your Bonnie Over the Sea??

After that excitement we drove to Killaloe Church by Gavin's parent’s house… The church is TINY although it looks bigger here...

So in the church Mom dressed me in my Grammie's Christening gown... I'm the 3rd generation to wear it!

Hey did you know I got a new set of parents? They are WAAAAAY cooler than my parents - my Uncle Paul and Daddy's cousin Clare are my godparents. I think they are great! Although I maybe giving Clare a run for her money in this shot!

And then... I got baptised!! Look at me screaming my heart out... you would too that water is COLD folks!

And I mean COLD!

Afterwards, my Great Grandad bought me a cake! I wish I could have eaten it... Daddy said it was nummy! (Mom doesn't like cream but she said the flowers were good!)

And finally, we went to Langtons to have a meal... however we had to wait for the table so they sent us to the bar... if only I was taller I could have ordered my first pint! Maybe being awake would have helped as well as I slept through the dinner. All that screaming in the church wears a baby out!

A quick hello...

Well folks...

I'm doing great but just a short note tonight to let you know that Mom & Dad are ditching me tomorrow night (that didn't take long!)   I get to stay overnight at Nana & Grandad's and I'm really excited!  Mom & Dad are going to Mount Juliet for a night away and spa treatments.  I would complain that I'd like to go with but as Mom & I started Baby Massage classes this week, I've already had my massage for the week!   Came home and kicked back in the Mamaroo...





And big news.... I'm getting baptised on Saturday... not sure if I am going to scream yet or not, Mom thinks YES but maybe I'll surprise her and be a nice quiet baby *HAHAHAHA yea right!*  This is my are you kidding me Mom face...




Do you like Mom's new camera lens?  I do she says she can't wait to take more pictures of me... oh no I see visions of turkeys in my future!

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL??

Well folks, 

I AM! Even though Mom & Dad won't let me stay up until 1am for the game, I'll be dreaming of touchdowns!

Unfortunately my cheesehead doesn't fit so if I were going to the game, I would have to wear my hair like this... Hahaha!

Someday I do hope to have pretty hair as at the moment mine is all falling out! Maybe it will be blonde, or brown, or red or maybe even curly! What do you think of this look?

So not sure of the hairdo, well then you'll just have to wait until mine grows back. I've had a pretty good week this week as I've been perfecting my smiles for you...

First I stare at my Mom wondering why she makes such weird faces...

Then, I go half way and give her something to make her happy...

Normally, then when she isn't looking (or if Daddy makes the funny faces) I smile like this...

You know what else I found out this week? I have FEET!!! I mean real feet that I can kick and move around... they are sooo fun to look at! Maybe next week I'll have to look for some hands!

I also had fun with some baby paper (Thanks Auntie Meg) even though I don't see it it feels nice and makes funny noise!

So that was my week folks, busy bee Lulu! Now next week I wonder what I will do....

World Meet Bob

Well folks, I'd like to introduce you to a new friend... Bob.  A gift from Grammie & Gramps, I love it!

Here I am with Dad in the Mall of America - Dad was jealous of Bob so he decided to dislocate his knee skiing so he too could have a stroller.    (At the moment Dad is back in the Dr looking at his leg as it is still not better).

Thanks Grammie & Gramps.... now get moving Mom & push me around!

Well folks, Mom is finally getting the house cleaned and laundry done from our trip so she has time to post! I wanted to share some more of the photos from my visit to the states as I thought you'd like to see them!

Yea, I am not sure yet about this Santa guy... he was pretty scary! Mom thinks he makes a great Santa though!

For Christmas, my cousin Derek and I dressed up...

I got to meet my Great Auntie Julie! She made me a fantastic sweater which I will debut soon!

And finally we had to leave La Crosse so I had my last photo taken with Gramps, Grammie and Liffey until May. We're all sporting WI gear for the Rose Bowl (Well I'm not but at least I am in white & red)

When I was in Minneapolis I got to meet my first DeeGee baby friend... Charlotte!! She was great and only 6 days old! Mama can't believe that I was that little once!

I'm still here in the New Year!

First of all Happy New Year to everyone! 



Mom, Dad and I spent the night with Em & Ryan, Roman & Jess... The evening starts out great - Dad styled my hair for the night.



We had a good night and I even woke up right in time for the fireworks at midnight!






(Roman didn't make it to midnight so Handy Manny had to do - a cartoon character in the states)



After New Year's it was a busy week!  We went to Uncle JJ's & Aunt Nicole's for a few nights so we could shop in the cities.  Uncle JJ and I watched the Packers win & make it into the playoffs!



Then, Dad and I both were in buggies while shopping in the Mall of America (Dad dislocated a knee skiing).



We had a LONG trip back to Ireland, especially with Daddy in crutches but I was all smiles the whole way back... I'm perfecting them for everyone here this week!







More to follow on my trip but Mom & Dad are in Kilkenny so you'll have to wait until we get back to Robertstown!  At the moment I'm snoozin' away in Ballyclovan.
