Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'

RAWHIDE!!!!!!!!

Well folks,

That's right I'm a roll-in these days!  Mom came into the living room last week and there I was bum up in the air for all to see.   She couldn't believe it so she flipped me to my back and made me do it again!   I have now mastered the rolling!   When I went to see my physiotherapist (for my neck) she was amazed that I rolled from my back to my tummy first as most babies go the other way... but I told her I am not like most babies!  (I mean come on how many babies do you know who have a blog?)

So lately my favorite time of the day is "naked time"!  Mom takes off me little nappy and I go a rollin! Normally about an hour or so before bed and the sheer joy I have - rolling around and screeching playing with anything I can get my hands or feet on!  I love naked time!  Mom likes it too as she says I entertain myself which means she gets a break.


So this weekend, Dad competed in the "Nifty Fifty" Honda 50 race at Mondello Park.  It was a 5 hour endurance race on the old bikes.   He had a good time although his bike had an issue about 2 hours in where he thinks dirt got into the fuel somehow and thus the bike lost a lot of power.  It was a race for charity and for fun though so he still had a good time and finished the race!

Here's Daddy racing along - notice his aerodynamic posture for the best speed!  Mind you the top speed of these bikes is about 60mph... it took between 1min 35 sec and 2 mins to do a lap - Daddy normally does this in less than 59 seconds on his Suzuki bike!

We had a good time though - the boys can't wait to do the race again next year and Daddy is going to sort out the bike to get a faster performance!  

Lastly, check out my new bracelet from my Godmother Claire - it is really cool with my name on it!  My only issue is I try to eat it so Mommy had a hard time getting a photo of me with it.    Thanks Claire!

Out and About

Well folks,

I've been having a good time in Kilkenny although Mom tells me that tomorrow we're leaving for home.  I'll be sad to leave my Nana & Grandad but will be glad to get back home.   I would say that I would be glad to see Stinky (Dixie), Stubby (Daisy) and Paddy but we're not too happy with the dogs at the moment.

Poor poor Paddy!  Last night Daddy thought Paddy was in the shed so when the builders let the dogs out back this morning we thought there would be no issues.  However Paddy was out in the yard and the poor bird cannot fly that well and thus the dogs cornered Paddy and he is no longer with us.  Daddy is heartbroken after looking after Paddy so long.  We're really sad and the dogs are in the DOG HOUSE literally!  Daddy is making them stay outside!

Hopefully we gave Paddy a few extra months of life as he would not have made it without Daddy's help when he landed in our yard!  Rest in Peace little fellow we'll miss ya!!




On a happier note I've been getting out and about these days!  Here are some photos of my days.

First Mom takes photos of me in the P&G displays she sees out and about and sends them back to work.   Today I was not happy as you can see in the photo and decided I'd give out right as Mom was taking the photo.   She thinks the girls at work will get a kick out of it! Mean Mama!

Here I am with my friend Lucy... she's Daddy's God Daughter and is about 4 months older than me. She's good at belly time, I'm still working on it!

Here I am with my Daddy! He always makes me HAPPY! Don't mind my hairdoo... I have some male pattern baldness going on yet the back top part of my hair is still growing! Mom doesn't know what to do with it, she says soon I'll have a proper "comb over". Whatever Mom!

Here I am hanging out in my bjorn with Mama! I'm loving the bjorn these days except the other day when Mom was wearing it and accidentally opened the door on my head!

Watch out Mom... Mind the baby please as you're clumsy enough on your own!!!

And finally, I thought I'd go for a drive today... maybe up the country.. maybe too the sea? So I packed up, put on my coat & cap and then found out I cannot reach the pedals! I mean come on when are these legs going to grow?

Well folks, I'd better get some sleep to get this body growing!

Hangin with my Grandad

Well folks,


I've been kicked out of my house --- too much dust from the kitchen remodel!  Mom is excited for the new kitchen but there is way too much dust for us to stay as we had to knock down part of a chimney to get in our new stove.  

So Mom and I packed up and ran for the woods... well to Nana & Grandad's in Kilkenny.   Not sure how long were going to be here but it could be a while as the house is now a mess.   Mom says it will all be worth it in the end especially as the oven door fell off the oven last week - yup the last straw... new kitchen here we come!

So Nana is in Dublin today prayin for us so here I am hanging with Grandad!

Grandad is FUNNY he makes me laugh!

Now if only Mom could get him to change a nappy!  Someday I say, I'll get him when he has me hahaha!

Headpieces & Valentines....

My modelling days continue as I have now posed for "Lulu's Fru Fru" knitting pattern which Mom listed on Ravelry for free to download.  She posted it this morning and it has already been downloaded 30 times!  Everyone wants to be stylin like me these days!


Here I am with my new Fru Fru!  Not sure I'd actually wear this out and about but you know, a girl has to have options!

                           


Yesterday I met up with my friend Brennan.  We went to music class in Dublin and then hung around Powerscourt while our Mom's ate lunch.  We had a good time and have another date next week.  And guess what?   Brennan asked me to be his valentine!  I got my first ever valentine card :-)

Here we are just sleeping around!  haha!

Well folks, Dixie has just decided to sit on my playmat so I need to go kick her out!

I'm FAMOUS!!!

Well folks,

A day after my Mom said my modeling days were over and today I'm a real life model!

Mom designed a knitted Tutu for me and published it on http://www.ravelry.com/  (For those of you who knit it is a great site!)   Within 5 minutes of posting 3 people had it in their que to make and 1 lady tried to buy it before Mom could even finish posting!

Haha Mom this porker baby is rolling in the dough!

Thought I'd change it up a bit and show you some new photos of......   ME!  Hahaha!  I am the cutest little poker baby around these days you know (or at least Mom thinks so but of course she has to as I'm the baby gotta love me!)

Well as I am now 14lbs and in the 85% for weight I guess that just maybe the case! I'll have to get onto my other skills...



First I have inherited Mom & Dad's ability to roll my tongue it is my new favorite trick to do, mom almost caught me in action!

Well not too much else to report today.   I'd like to give a big shout out to my Great Aunt Julie (aka Auntie Juju) for my sweater and hat combo!   I'll model some photos of it for you to see...

Whoa... too distracted to look at the camera those feet things are moving again!

I'm not fond of hats as I normally cry when they get put on my head but this one I seem to like!  I told Mom it is because it matches my pretty blue eyes (Mom can't believe I have blue eyes she thought they'd be brown!)

This next one I think proves that my modelling days maybe over before they started!  Reminder to self... cut back on the chocolates!

What a Super Weekend!

Well folks,

That was a SUPER weekend wasn't it?  I was all geared up in my Packer gear and all ready to watch the game and then Mom came and put me to bed!!   Throw the flag... throw the flag I say not fair!    I wanted to stay up and watch but as it started at Midnight here it was a good thing I got my beauty rest. I woke up at the start of the 4th quarter just as the Steelers fumbled the ball.... so at least I got to see some of the excitement!

This morning I thought I'd be nice to Mom and I happily stayed in my bed kicking away for an hour so Mom could rest since she was up until almost 4am.   That was nice of me... I'll get my revenge another day hahaha.

Not too many photos to share - Mom has been slacking in the photo taking lately.  I think it could be because I'm loosing my hair and have quite the interesting hairdo going on.   Everyone still thinks I look like my Daddy though - even the guy who is building our new kitchen told me I'm a spitting image.  As for me I cannot see the resemblance can you?




Hmmm... ok maybe a little!

You know what my favorite thing to do these days?  Take a bath! I loooooovvvvveeeee them! I wish I could just stay in the water all night I scream when I get pulled out of the tub.  It is simply the best.... Mom says she is going to take me swimming soon as she thinks I'll like it.  If it is anything like this bath thing, I think I will just have to try it out!

Goodness don't mind the rolls that are starting to form.... "Je bois mon lait a la source !"
