Well folks,
What a month it's been since I turned two! First, I'm really starting to master the art of self portraits on the ipad! Here I am from the other day - this was 1 of about 50 successive photos I took of myself making faces!
Then I caught a bad eye infection and was sent into Tallaght Children's Hospital!
The first night was great - guess where I got to eat my dinner from? "The castle" as I call it for some reason - otherwise know to you as McDonalds. Mom and Dad have no idea why I call it the castle or why I know what the arches are as I've only been there about 2 times! But boy was I happy to eat my chips, sitting in my own bed, watching my own tv having a ball of a time!
I spent a whole week in the hospital (Sunday - Friday!) Mom and Dad were sure tired by the end of the week but I didn't know what all the fuss was about... I slept like a baby (sometimes)
And I entertained myself with the fun stuff they had for me.
I thought it was a cool place to hang out but I guess Mom wanted to go home so finally on Friday I was released! When I arrived home Mom made me a BIG PINK cake... it was so good to be home!
The next weekend, guess where Mom & Dad surprised me with a trip to?
What a cool place - I loved the animals especially the Gorilla Family. I pointed to the Big one and said "That's the Daddy" to the middle one and said "That's the Mommy" and to the baby and said "That's the Lulu" - everyone around me at the time burst out laughing! It made perfect sense to me! I sat in my wishing chair to make a wish to come back (just like I did last year!)
I even rode a Zebra!!
No one told me how tired the Zoo can make a kid! I was OUT COLD by the time we were at the bird displays... oh well it was a great day!
Later when Mom and I came home we made cookies - who knew that flour & water could be so much fun!
But you know almost two weeks back in the creche and I just had to keep Mom on her toes so I decided to get the CHICKEN POX!!! Mom said I was LOADS of fun while I had this (I didn't sleep a wink!) but it didn't stop me from being my goofy self! Luckily I had these in early December so they are all healed and scabbed over before I go to the States - just over a week later and Mom and Dad may have had to change their travel plans!
That's right folks... I'm heading off on an airplane on Thursday to see Grammie & Boppa. Mom keeps asking me if I am ready to go on the big plane and I tell her no, I am going on a "little one". There are rumors in the air that this big guy may be stopping by for presents for me... even if I was not too happy to sit on his lap! I was perfectly fine talking to him though, telling him that I would like some crayons and asking him to say HoHoHo for me which he did!
So those of you in Ireland - Happy Christmas and those of you in the States - Here comes Lulu!
And just so you don't think it's all about Santa... What do you mean the wise men did not bring pink golf balls to the nativity?
(I happened to be wearing my sheep costume that day - perfect huh? Man some day Mom is in for it!)
Love,
Lulu
