Santa Baby Coming to see a Little Janey!

Well People,

So the night had come... the cookies were ready....

Our stockings were ready (they were not going to be hung by fire or they'd go up in flames!)

One of us was quite confident that her name was on the "nicel" list, the other, well visions of her sugar-tantrums may have filled her head!

And finally I was all nested and snug in my bed for I was really looking forward to my 1st Christmas!

And what a day it was!  We had loads of fun & the big guy delivered!  Lulu really liked her makeup...

And her "pink crown like Grammie"!

Me?  Well look who has her 1st "baby".

I was pretty thrilled!

We had a fun day playing with all our new toys.  Lulu received the hula hoop she wanted and a surprise baby pram!  I got all kinds of stuff but really like my baby & baby stroller which Mom says will help me learn to walk.

We had dinner with Nana & Grandad & Uncle Pat and Lulu decided to wear her "traditional attire" of pjs all day.  This year you can see she accessorized with a lovely shower cap.

I wore one of Mom's Christmas aprons, but come on who cares what they were when there are spuds around.   Yes Please Nana I'll take 4ths!

Momma & Me after dinner smiles.

We also decided to take a cousins photo.... isn't it lovely.

Uh-Oh Mom said I'm supposed to rewind ten seconds to show you what really happened.  Let's see well all started out great...

But wait a second... is Ellie trying to steal my baby cute-ness! "Hey Everyone Look over to my right I think I see Rudolph!"

Hee hee hee... at least I have a full year to get back on the "nice" list!    In the meantime I took my 1st "selfie".   I think I just maybe surpassing Lulu in my photo skills as I not only take these lovely photos on mom's phone but....

I'm also mastering the "photobomb"!

Merry 1st Christmas Everyone!

Getting Ready for the Big Guy!

Well people,

So Lulu and I woke up the other day to a visitor in our house.  She made a HUGE mess too coming down the fireplace to see us.   Lulu named her "Elf", creativity was a flowin!

Mom surprised us to!  She said we were going to take a trip into Dublin!  I couldn't wait sounded like a fun time.  Lulu was excited to, she had a lollipop on the Luas....

Mom refused to give me a lollipop.  I thought about crying, but then didn't want to break my streak of the happiest baby in the world so I just decided to look a bit sad instead.

It was a little chilly in Dublin, but it was neat to see all the shops and the people everywhere!

And guess where we went?  Mom took us to see Santy!  We had to wait just a little bit, I played and Lulu watched the kids movies on the bean bags they had!   I also schooched when Mom put me down (in my own Janey style schoocin!)

Here is a photo of us with the big man!  (In Mom's old dresses that Aunt Julie made for her).

What a fun day!  When we arrived home, Mom even let me eat my shoes... my favorite!

Lulu decided that she'd celebrate by doing her own hair (all by herself)!

And look at what "Elf" did!  What a bold Elf we have at our house!

So, I'm told that Santa comes to you house to leave you stuff.  Well, Lulu may want a hula-hoop and a crown but I just want to make sure he knows I'm here so thought I'd have to tell him don't forget about little ol'Jane!

When Mom asked Lulu if she was a good girl all year, her answer "check".

Lulu asked me if I was a good girl, Daddy said "double check".

And Dixie & Daisy said "butt on head check".   Mom says they stayed like this for about an hour!

So, we're leaving for Nana & Grandad's house soon so I'm getting all cleaned up with Mom!  Can't wait to see what the big guy brings me!

Janey

It's That Time of Year.... Or So They Tell Me!

Well People,

Do you hear what I hear?   Yup, it is that time of year again we're getting ready for Christmas... my 1st Mom tells me!

Untitled

To kick off the holiday season, Santa came to light the lights in our village!  We all dressed up to go down to see him turn on the lights.

Untitled

Me too me too!

Untitled

We waited a long time to see Santa as the kids from the school sang some songs and then the parish priest blessed the nativity.   Lulu decided to take a bit of a snooze.

Untitled

And well, you don't need to tell this baby twice.   I was out of the count, allegedly Santa did eventually arrive on a John Deere tractor to light the village but I was having visions of sugarplums instead!

Untitled

When we arrived back home Lulu decorated the tree.

Untitled

As Lulu has a habit of running around the house in as little of clothing as possible, Mom and Dad usually have to make her put on slippers.   I guess she decided to dress up for the tree decorating!

Untitled

And it must be a fashion statement as a few nights later when we bought the real tree she was at it again!

Untitled

I even helped with the real tree, they were looking for a star for the top and I said "uh huh look no further people!"

Untitled

Lulu also has been the local bus driver to Baby Jesus's birthday party (or so the nativity is called).   Every day the Disney princesses and Little People are loaded up and bused over.

Untitled

And what a party!  I mean look closely, they are all getting down (including Baby Jesus's baby sister) a ring an M&M train and lips that make a buzzing noise!

Untitled

And yesterday, when we went to our local Tesco, Lulu put her real driving skills to the test.   Let's hope this truck can't get out on the road.

Untitled

As she needs more practice at driving.   Last week the daily bus to Baby Jesus's birthday party crashed as she fell off the stool and we had our 1st injury.   (So Mom moved the party down to lower ground!)

Untitled

But we also have been making Christmas cookies.  I even get to eat some of them!   These were some beauties Lulu decorated.

Untitled

We're enjoying our fire although Mom and Dad are always begging Lulu to wear more clothing.  This is a typical outfit.  (Mom and Dad usually give up as long as she has something on her feet).   And for those of you wondering, this is not a posed photo this was the way she was sitting on the couch!

Untitled

But the best is I'm getting big so sometimes Lulu plays with me!  What fun!

Getting Ready to MO....VE

Well people,

November is here and it's getting cold outside so I had to make sure to bundle up when we went out.  Grammie made this for Lulu but it fits my little chubby bum as well.  I love it!

Untitled

Some of you may remember a similar photo of Lulu...

IMG_1415

I've also started to move & grove this month.   I try to crawl but usually fall onto my belly.

Untitled

Mom said that we had to celebrate Thanksgiving with a turkey, little did I know that Lulu and her were going to make be into a Butterball wearing the hat she made for Lulu.

Untitled

They also let me taste an onion how nice of them huh?

Untitled

Not nice!  NOT NICE!  I mean it look at my gut!  That is not a taste a baby likes.

Untitled

Mom and Daddy let Lulu & I stay up really late to watch the Late Late Toy Show!!   We loved it.   Don't mind Lulu in her lipstick and mulled wine mustache.... she loved watching the dancing and singing kiddos.

Untitled

Now speaking of mustaches... of course I can support Movemeber like the best of them!

Untitled

But mostly this month, I tried to scooch around the new room getting into everything I possible could.   Sometimes (when Lulu is tired) she takes everything just an inch or two out of arms reach so I can't get anything.   One time she decided she had enough of my attempts and came over and gave me a little shove right over on my back.   I only cried for a second I'm a tough one....  note to Lulu watch out I'll be crawling soon!

Untitled

Lulu and I also have a lot of fun in the baths these days.   We like to do our hair... here is Lulu's attempt.

Untitled

And my attempt.   CUTIE PATOTIE HERE!  Look at those spikes, those cheeks, that smile... what a looker!

Blessings, Beers & Hail Marys!

Well People,

November sure went by in the blink of an eye huh?   What am I up to these days?  Well I'm almost crawling.... I can schooch around on my bum pretty well... good enough to get whatever I want!   Mainly Lulu's toys to which I can enjoy until she catches me and then they are swiped, (even if she doesn't want them) and I'm given a wooden block or 1 piece of lego or something insignificant instead.    Mom keeps telling me Lulu's world is going to change as soon as I learn the word "Mine!"   Which may have to be my 1st!

We've went to a farm shop last week (it was cold) but fun! They had a train we rode around...

Untitled

And a house built for me!

Untitled

I told Mom and Lulu it would be the perfect size for me, if only I could walk, and talk, and wipe my own bum.    Oh well, I guess I'll have to stay with Mom a little bit longer.

Untitled

Lulu really liked it.  She fed the lamas...

Untitled

And the ostriches...

Untitled

But her FAVORITES were the piggies because they kept standing on their mama's back to get more food.  Reminded Mommy of her bed when Lulu wakes up and climbs all over her!  Lulu wouldn't stop laughing at the pigs!

Untitled

She posed for a photo with the goats who were trying to eat her hat!

Untitled

Mommy's favorite was the donkey.

Untitled

I have to tell you a funny story as a side note.  The other day everyone was in the car and Mommy was driving and said Lulu look into the field those say "Moo Moo!"   Daddy and Lulu looked at Mommy like she was insane and Lulu piped back immediately "No they don't Mommy they say HEE HAW HEE HAW!"  She was right.. Daddy burst himself laughing that Mommy thought they were cows!   Me, well I may have just snoozed through it as you know car + car seat + baby = snoozing Jane.

Here was a photo Lulu was taking of Mom & the donkey.   You can just see Mom's arm on the right side!

Untitled

We also had my cousin's christening in November!  Mommy tried to get a photo with us...

Untitled

And my Uncle Paul also tried (minus one tired kiddo)

Untitled

I really like it at Uncle Paul's as my Auntie Kirsty's side of the family has LOADs of cousins... we even had a kid table!

Untitled

We sure had a good night celebrating the Christening.  The next day Lulu got to spend time at Nana's by herself, this is how it looks when Lulu has been in your house for a few hours!

Untitled

We also have been watching football!   We all make sure we're sporting Packer pjs!

Untitled

And Lulu is showing me how to cheer when they get a touchdown (although not common these days!)

Untitled

But mainly we've been playing.  Sometimes Lulu lets me sit next to her and play... normally this is when she has me rigged up in something... I don't mind as my FAVORITE thing to do is watch Lulu if one must wear snickers on your head to do so then so be it!

Untitled

Mommy and Daddy have been enjoying Daddy's beer making... like the Pumpkin Spice batch he made for the month!

Untitled

And I've sure enjoyed eating this food!  I really like it when Lulu feeds me!

Untitled

So November was a pretty good month!

Love, Janey

Princesses, Pumpkins & a Mouse in the House

Well people,

We had a big week this week!  Someone has been counting down the days to earlier in the week... someone like my BIG SIS Lulu...

Untitled

She had to go to bed every night like a big girl to get Mom to mark off the day until she turned 3!   She was so excited going to bed before the big day.

Untitled

She even practiced wearing her birthday hat.....

Untitled

And made Daddy practice too!

Untitled

Me?  Well, how could I not be excited, I mean who is next in line for a cake around here... that's right you're looking at her!

Untitled

So when the big day arrived, Mom made Lulu a cake....

Untitled

Lulu woke up to see her cake, presents and balloons all over the house!

Untitled

She was so happy to open some of her presents in her pjs....

Untitled

Later on Mommy, Daddy and I surprised Lulu by dressing up in our royal attire, Lulu's dress was a hit from Uncle JJ & Aunt 'Cole.  Of course, the gloves and glass slippers were sent with regrets from Cinderelly herself!

Untitled

But the best part of the day was seeing all the family come over!   Lulu got to play (or drag) her 2nd cousin Abby around....

Untitled

And I got to play with my little cousin Ellie!

Untitled

I even let her & Georgie sit in my favorite chair!

Untitled

What a day!   Lulu and I had to hit the hay a bit early we were exhausted!

Untitled

Now normally a big birthday would be enough excitement to last a week but not this one!  As a few days later it was Halloween.  We had pumpkins to carve and knitting to do (or so Mom did anyway).   First with the pumpkins Lulu dug right in (sort of)...

Untitled

Then she told me to give it a go...

Untitled

OMG what is that???   Of course that didn't stop me from trying to eat in right after this was taken.

Untitled

The results of the carving.... you decide?

Mommy's

Untitled

Daddy's

Untitled

And Lulu's...

Untitled

And Janey's?   Hmmm guess you need to be able to talk around here to get a pumpkin... after all that gooey hands I didn't get one :-(

So, you ask, what was I going to be for Halloween?  A butterfly?

Untitled

Nope!  Mom made our costumes (her own design she made up)... The Gruffalo and the Little Brown Mouse!

Untitled

Mom says she needed better face paints (they were like wax)... But her eyes were orange, her tongue was black...

Untitled

And she had purpley prickles all over her back...

Untitled

Now let's get a close up of that mouse...

Untitled

Mommy, Lulu and I went trick or treating at some of the neighbours!

Untitled

Lulu had quite a stash and dug in right away!  (And to you observant ones no she did not eat her peas!)

Untitled

What a fun night!  But I needed a good chilliaxin on the couch after that week people!   Mom says I hear ya Janey what a week whew!!!

Untitled

Love, Janey
