Teas, Parades & Picnic

***Technical glitch the past few weeks.  Mom needs to get into the decade and move to a new browser!***

Well People,

So let's recap on my last few days in the states!  I learned how to smile big before I left Grammie and Boppa's house.  In fact Boppa made me belly laugh for the 1st time (he did the same for Lulu).

I also discovered that I have piggies!  Look at em up there... I can even use them to bounce in my seat by kicking 1 leg (usually my right one) as well as they get things for me!

Before we left Grammie and Boppa's we had our 1st Tea Party with Grammie.  Lulu insisted we all dress up in our finest.. I was even invited!

Lulu was quite the hostess in her new dress!

She loved being a princess having tea with with Queen, I mean her Grammie!

But finally the time came when we had to say bye to Boppa to head to the cities.  We sure are going to miss him!  We had a blast in our month home though!

Of course Lulu talked him into getting 1 last sweetie before leaving (not hard when both Lulu and Boppa share their love for sweet things).   Ice Cream!  Even Liffey had a bit of Lulu's cone"

Mom, Lulu, Grammie and I went to meet up with Derek & Molly at the park for dinner!   Derek and Lulu liked to seesaw.. 

And we ALL went for a swing!

Molly practiced her beauty queen wave as we told her we were going to a parade the next day!

Me?  I was onwards and upwards to new things now that I am finally out of my chair!

Derek and Lulu wanted to take their sisters for a crawl around the park...

But I was really happy when Momma came for a crawl around!

On Saturday we all went to a Pepperfest Parade with JJ & Nicole!  Here is the crew ex Momma.

And there is Momma and Boppa, I mean Lulu!

We had a lot of fun at the parade, Molly did so much waving the day before she decided she'd snooze through it!

I was really happy as I caught a ball that they threw to me!  

What a fun time we all had.  The next day Uncle JJ drove us to the airport and we said bye to 'merica as Lulu calls it.  Lulu said she wanted one last snargle face with Uncle JJ!  Wonder where she gets it from?

And off we flew!  Lulu and I were really good.  I slept the ENTIRE flight home and Lulu for most of it.  Mommy said this made her very happy so we took a celebratory photo in Dublin airport before we exited customs to see Daddy.

It sure didn't take Lulu long to get into the swing of things!  Within 10 minutes of arriving home she had changed into this beautiful outfit herself!

Me?  Well I was just happy to be back with my Daddy!  I mean he did miss 1/4 of my life while I was away!  Two peas in a pod my Daddy & Me... or more like a Babe in a Bjorn!

Leprechaun Tea Party!

Well people,

Guess who was the  #1 Cutest Leprechaun in La Crosse's Irishfest?   Was it Lulu with her orange beard?

Nope.  Was it Boppa or Grammie in their shades?

 

 

Nope.  That's right people, it was lil ol'me!

Mom entered us into the contest in the costumes she made us (two days before the event!) 

Mom said she'd enter us together as a leprechaun and her pot of gold, but the judges, they saw the beauty of this lil lady and gave me 1st prize!

We told Lulu we won together, but between you & me people we know the truth!  You have to admit it we make some cute leprechauns, we blended right into the scenery!

Mom told Lulu if she pushed me and waved she'd get Lulu a lollipop, me?

I didn't need a reward for being so cute, just told Mom as long as I can snooze afterwards I would be happy!  So snoozing I did!

We sure had a good time.  Lulu even decided to slide down a HUGE slide!

Me?  We'll I just decided to smile at the crowd showing everyone how cute I am!

Later on, we all came home and after a rest we decided to have a tea party!  And I was even invited!   Everyone put on their special outfits...

Even Mommy & I dressed up for the occasion!

Hostest with the Mostest Lulu poured tea for everyone..

And made sure everyone had some tea with their sugar & milk!

  

And then she made sure to use her really good manners like a lady!

Even I dined on a bit of animal cracker and used my manners.  Mom on the other hand, well lets not talk about her... she was "pickin' winners" at the table which caused Lulu to go into uncontrollable laughs!

So between being a leprechaun and having some cookies, we had a great weekend!   What fun I'm having as I'm getting big!

Going to the Chapel and I'm Gonna Get... BAPTIZED!

Well people,

Guess what?  Last weekend I was baptized!   Mom said it was going to be a special day for me & Molly Rose.   Grammie even gave me a bath in the sink (unlike Lulu I don't get baths everyday although I LOVE them!)

Ahh... a sink bath!

We woke up the next morning to a cake... we wanted Roses for Molly Rose and Shamrocks for me.  Mom thinks the cake may win an award ugly cakes... why didn't they use 1 colour of green?  

I didn't care though as it was my big day!  Boppa told me to be a good girl in church!

And Lulu gave me a pep talk about what was about to happen...

I ignored her advice to scream the entire time in church (like she did) and I decided to go for my normal... a snooze!

 

 

When it came to the time to get baptized, we had to Skype Daddy as he was home in Ireland.  Molly Rose went first....

And then it was my turn.  No crying here (in fact neither of us cried!)

Afterwards, we went back to Grammie & Boppa's house.  Here I am with my Godparents, Uncle JJ and Mom's best friend Kim aka Kimmer.

Emily and Kim decided to read "Go Dog Go" to us, I really liked it.   The night before Grammie took Lulu and Derek to see the play with Aunt Julie  (I of course was left at home).

Back to me now people, where were we?   Here I am with Mom & Lulu, we missed Daddy to Stella said she'd fill in.

And we attempted another photo of the cousins but then an airplane came by that was just too much fun to resist!

 

 

I told Julie that we should head into the house for another snooze... you can tell as I have my arms in in "snoozing pose".

But when I got inside I had other plans as Mom had to leave for a while so I decided to give out but not before I took a photo like one of Julie's cupie dolls.

Some of you may remember the dress which Grammie, Mom & Lulu (and Aunt Julie & Aunt Meg) wore as Granny Lulu made it for Grammie.

What a great day!   Here I am baptized!
