March started out really fun as Mom showed me how to paint. Well not so much as showed me but just let me do my own thing. Really Mom you want me to make a mess?
5 secs later.... NO PROBLEMO MOMMA! Gotta make sure to get some in my hair!
Now you see me? Now you don't!
Pablo Picas-Who? No artist has anything on me...
Until bath time that night, when Mom found Lulu on the couch like this. Hmmm... my artist, hippie, bohemian style needs some work compared to my sister!
Most days in contrast Lulu is dressed as a princess. Sometimes she pretends to be "Rapunzel" in her tower...
Other times it is best just not to ask questions! Given I've only had 2 bottles in my whole life Lulu only saw Momma do this once! But I guess formula doesn't cut it for her babies!
But princesses we are and Lulu has learned how to turn me into one as well. She just grabs her magic wand...
And biddibi bobbidi bo.... Janey's a princess too!
However no one, and I mean no one, is a happy as a girl in a princess dress as Lulu is!
So I decided to try and give it a go. I studied the princesses in her collection...
Grabbed myself a magic "wand" and...
Bibiddi Bobbidi DOG
Lulu was even quite impressed with my skills. She came over to inspect my style...
And with only a slight adjustment on crown placement a princess dog was born! Dixie just went up about a billion notches in her status around here!
And finally Mom says March is a fun month when you're Irish. She says that there really is no other country in the world that has 1 day of the year that everyone wants to be like us! That day finally arrived and I was so happy!
So was Lulu as her teachers told her to wear green, well you don't have to tell Lulu twice - she had her outfit ready from the night before. Just look at those dimples - she was happy!
A pair of wee lil'o'leprechauns we were!
And just in case you need one more up close & personal...
For the actual St Patrick's day we went to Kilkenny to watch the parade.
And Mom even let us ride the merry-go-round (she couldn't get a photo of me as we were on the horse next to Lulu).
We had a great day however if we had to vote Irish parade vs American - these two Irish girls will go to a candy-throwing American parade any day of the week!
And with that, we left Lulu at Nana's for a few days and headed back up home for some relaxing time... not that I ever need an excuse!
Love,
Janey
